That is some real mean primer...perhaps he is an auto body guy on the side?? Maybe there is some "Bondo" in that helme as well? Brian

C'mon guys, don't you see it's a helmet from the Marine Jäger zu Pferde Unterwasser Regiment. These helmets were coated with a special paint that was sea water resistant...
It was a very secret unit and only a few of these helmets were produced in the same factory as where they made those stealth helmets...
