The helmet is a good one in terms of having all period parts, although the condition of those parts is not very good. It may have been re-worked and re-issued but 960 Euro for a so-so condition M15 Infantry is delusional in my view.

Do you know why the stitching is visible above the cockades on this M15. All others I have looked at do not seem to have it visible. By any chance could this of been a fire mans helmet, sorry to ask but I do not have too muck knowledge on WW1 pickelhaubes. Thanks

Personally, I would not buy this piece... all fittings are too rusted for my taste. The M15 is the most common of all pickelhauben and quite often the first helmet for any collector. I would wait and find one in much better condition...my opinion only.
