This is either a sign of a serious collector or I have a serious problem. I'm based outside Detroit, Michigan. There are always good shows within driving distance and today was a true marathon.
My wife and I woke up at 3:30am, ate a quick bite and were on the road to go to the Toronto Military Show. We arrived in Toronto for the "early bird" at the show at 7:15am. I bought a number of items (I'll post photos later after I've rested), and then we headed out by 9am. We drove directly back to Michigan and after a four hour drive made it to the Michigan Antique Arms Show in Novi, and arrived at a little after 1:00pm. I bought a Span-Am War campaign hat and a British Home Service Helmet.
We finally got home at 4:00pm, and I'm going for a quick run (or else I'll fall asleep) and then dinner with my parents!
