Hello,my salty M95 Württemberg,wich I bought earlier this year.Liner is grotty,markings are there,but almost unreadable,thanks for looking,greetings,Coert.

Wonderful example, and not 'grotty' at all!

I seem to see a ring of knurling around the base of the spike, is this peculiar to Wurttemberg helmets?

Thanks for the nice words gents,I like enlisted helmets that have the " Been there" look... @ glenn,I made an extra photo of the spike,to me it's the same as other helmets I have.There is a little knurled edge to it. :thumb up:

Looks nice to me! I think the pattern around the base of the spike is from a wheel used to turn the metal while forming. Probably had small teeth in it. I've a few like that, none from Wurt.
