Enlisted man Fusilier Regt 34 helmet

Steve,
Because this helmet ist stamped with FR34, it has beeen first worn at the I or the II B in Stettin. The III/FR34 in Swinemünde did not had this Wappen on the helmets, only the classic line eagle.
Then, because this helmet is showing a reserve cross, it moved probably to the Regiment stab (staff) or to the IIIB of the RJR2 (Reserve Infanterie Regiment 2) that was formed August 1914 in Stettin:

Reserve-Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 2 (+ MG.-Kp.)
Aufgestellt in Stralsund (I.), Anklam (II.) und Stettin (R.Stb., III.)
Unterstellung: 3. Res.Div.
Kommandeur: Oberstleutnant Rodig (I.R.Nr. 54)
I.: Major Brinck (I.R.Nr. 42)
II.: Major Eggel (I.R.Nr. 42) gef.: 2.9.14
III.: Major v. Heintze (Gren.R.Nr. 2) gef.: 2.10.14

Or even to the staff or III B of the LJR2 (Landwehr Infanterie Regiment 2):

Landwehr-Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 2

Aufgestellt in Stettin (R.Stb., III.) und Stralsund (I., II.)
Unterstellung: 35. Res.Div. (Hauptreserve Thorn)
Kommandeur: Oberstleutnant v. Reuter (Gren.R.Nr. 2)
I.: Major v. Romberg (Gren.R.Nr. 2) gef.: 22.1.15
II.: Major v. Sell (I.R.Nr. 42)
107
III.: Major Frhr. v. d. Horst (Gren.R.Nr. 2)

I can unfortunatly find no active officer with this name at the FR33 in the Ehrenrangliste before the war. As he had the rank of Oberleutnant during the war, he should have had the rank of Leutnant before August 1914...

Other possibility: this guy was a reserve officer. In this case, one can find two guys with this name in the Ehrenrangliste before the war, but one of them was 1913 Leutnant of the JR15 (Bezirkskommand Detmold) and the second one, a Leutnant too, was 1913 at the Landwehrbezirk Coesfeld.

Maybe one of them moved to the 5/FR33 at the mobilisation or just after? I guess, only Glenn could help us here...

Here we go 😊 Larcade I, page 153. Quite rare stamp of the II Bezirkskommando Cassel, 44. Infanterie Brigade.

Jean Louis Larcade made a big mistake, pretending this helmet was from the 2/ JR44....
This exact helmet was sold beginning of 2023 in french auction. The buyer could find another stamp in the shell, from the JR83 (which garrison was Cassel):

Thank you!!
-Wonder who can help me with this question:
This helmet served J-L. LARCADE for illustrating his article on the Prussian Infantryman in parade uniform in 1914. [French Magazine "Gazette des Uniformes" Nr. 27 (page 11). September/October 1975].
-I would like to find that article by J-L. Larcade from this Magazine.
Thank you!
Francis
