Ersatz Felt Pickelhaube marking...

Gents, I have recently picked up an Ersatz Felt Pickelhaube, with markings on the inside rear visor, "B.A. IV" clothing stores 4th Army, Prussian Saxony, HQ at Magdeburg...however alongside this marking is "L XVIII" I take it that this is a Landwehr marking, if so, my question is ... does it designate a Corps, Division or Battalion ? There is scant information even on the net re/Landwehr units.
