Ersatz helmet in tombac

There is one more interesting tombac helmet. I my opinion it's the same manufacturer. But condition is poor.

Concerning the name of the manufacturer of the "Metallic Ersatz" I only know Bing, Weissenburger and Von der Heyden which were the subject of Patents deposited and acceptance by contract of the army. Unlike cuirassier helmets which were stamped by the manufacturer (Juncker, Nachtzigall, Lachmann etc...) the ersatz-metallic infantry helmets were not.

I have found no manufacturer stamps inside so it between the 3 manufacturers as mentiont early'er that it will remain a mistory

Fellows what are you thinking about the price of the helmet in this condition? Is it possible to restore it?

In my opinion, a bodybuilder can bring out the dents and straighten the top of the hull. On the other hand, the cracks must be left as they are.
