Tony has been after me for years to post some fotos of some of the helmets in my collection. So here goes.... all fittings on this helme are brass, I have not tried to clean them and I believe that they have been chemically darkened. This type of helme also comes with grey M15 style fittings. Chin strap is original to this piece.

Note, that the front of the helme is slotted for the typical looped wappen with leather wedges. Brian

Many thanks for the compliments Adler. I have had this piece for many years. It came out of a local militia armouries. The dealer I bought it from had something that they wanted for their regimental museum so this was part of the trade. Brian
