Hi Guys

Thought I’d share this recent acquisition of a cabinet card size image of two Baden infantrymen circa 1900. As you can see they are armed with the 1888 Commission rifle with the long bladed M1871 sword bayonet. The image is very clear with excellent detail….you just hafta know these guys liked their gear, its no wonder we collect it..

If you have the time, I would be interested in seeing close-ups of those canteens. I've got some that I think are from this period, but you don't get clear photos of them that often.
