What makes you say this is a fake? The photos are bad, the helmet is in too perfect a condition with what looks like a re-guilded wappen, and I don't speak German but I can't spot what gives it away as a fake.
 
It did look too pristine but this means that the fakers are becoming pros same as for the WW2 items... :twisted:
 
The nuts on the star studs are octagonal. The finish on the shell is pebbled. The front visor trim (side view) has a slight curve to it, it should be straight.
