Fake wappen ????????

This helmet has a Prussian wappen with outstanding detail. But
the detail looks a little to good when compared to the rest of the helmet.

I also noticed the metal clips holding it to the body. So this is
most likely not the wappen that is original to the helmet. Right? :-?
 
That is a standard Preußen eagle Wappen. That is one of the things that make Wappens little gems; the detail on even an issued Wappen is mind-boggling. Look at the fine pebbling around the words on the Bandeau, the tiny stamped lines on the feathers, the sharp letters on the Bandeau. All these features tend to be muted or not present at all on a replica Wappen.
