Family Photo Help needet

hello

im on a special quest as i try to find out about some relatives who or what they where

i have 2 photos out of the family treasure lot, on one is written schlossgarde but that's all

as far as i could find out he meet here wile service and she was doing some sort of service too

i would love to know what he was and what she was and if there is anything i could find out more about it

any help would be amazing

I think I have a copy of the picture on top. I don't believe mine is a Cabinet card. I think the final consensus was that this was some sort of carnival picture.

ok, but looks like a nice party then, maybe everyone who was there got a copy for himself, dont know but still the second one is not a party photo as far as i know and that is not a lot so far

one more thing the photograph on the cabinet card had his address in the troop barracks who are nowadays used by the German police, maybe that helps something
 
Regarding the wedding pic...using my limited uniform skills...a senior NCO (entitled to wear the sword) from a Garde regiment (note trichtered garde helme). He has a marksman proficiency lanyard on his shoulder as well. As to the group pic something theatrical?? The cavalry boots are not real just ankle boots with an add on part to extend up the leg. I have seen this transformation of short boots to long cavalry boots used even these times in plays.
