As the weather has not been good decided to take a few photos to share of part of my collection. From left to right we have::

Garde Ulan Regt Nr 2 NCO

Garde Ulan Regt Nr 3 Officer (Rittmeister)

Garde Grenadier Regt Nr 5 enlisted man

(First posting, so hope it works!)

Thanks very much, both. I will have to post some more photos of the helmets at some time.

Bruno - the mortarboard is not detachable. It was made by Wunderlich and dated 1915.

All the best,

An enviable collection indeed! Isn't it strange how many desirable military collectables gravitate to attics!?
Cheers,
Steve

Would not a Hessian Feldgrau M1915 helmet be harder to find than a Wurttemberg ?
I will have to count the regiments .

Very nice group of Prussian Garde helmets . I like the Prussian Garde helmets
and the Prussian Grenadier regiments 1 to 12

They are rarer indeed Steve. I had the luck to be able to buy my Hessian M15 from a forum member.
It is also rather nice marked, as it should be. Has all the kammer marks.
