bought a shako here, what do friends say? I do not think the eagle is from him, he's a nickel, or could it be?

I am no expert on shakos , but that is the first time I have ever seen a visor trim on any shako .
The chin strap metal parts look original but the strap is questionable
Usually there is a green leather sock that the field badge slides in on felt shakos .
The field badge looks a little new .
Not sure on the plate , I need to see the back side.
I love felts but the visor trim would have put up a red flag if it were me.

the edging of the visor on the shako is not often, but it occurs. Eagle on the shako is not a copy. I considered it carefully. I will then take a picture and show the other side

I had never seen one with visor trim before either but those original photos say it all. The wappen is also original because if you look at the interior picture Sergei provides it is one of the special ones that has an extra loop soldered to the birds chest so the feldzeichen wire can go through and lock in place. Congratulations Sergei!
