I think the oppiside becose thats one in a great condition i already have sutch model but out of curiousity i have addet it to my watch list

Finished at £970 . Whats peoples thoughts on the price ? i set myself a limit and thought i'd get it but wasnt to be. Anyone on here won it ?
 
I would of paid a lot more than that but wasn't expecting it to go so high , i was hoping to win it .........bah....i'll keep looking then.........

Yes. Finished at $1388.76 US. I believe that is pretty high for this piece.
I may be the biggest tightwad on the forum, but I might have gone to $700, or even $750 for this.

Glad i didn't win then as i would have clearly overspent . I'm not feeling much hope for the Baldwin collection part 2 in May so thought i'd have a pop at this one .

I wouldn't say "overspent" based upon my price.
I really love the Franco-Prussian War stuff and Napoleonic stuff. I have undoubtedly overspent on some of that.
Depends on your preference.

I bet the Napoleonic stuff doesn't come cheap. Been trying to get my mate to part with his waterloo medal for years but he wont have it .
However he says hes left it me in his will.
Problem is , i'm older than him lol.
 
:-k I have doubts about the originality of this shako. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems to me that this is a quality fake. I would not buy this helmet

A lot that does not like in the shako.
Felt structure. thread. Shako form.
The accessories are original.
it's difficult for me to explain. Google interpreter does not translate correctly
