I thought the neck guard was interesting, not leather. Fiber like the dome?

Hi Ron...have to disagree...if my eyes don't deceive me you can just see the row of stitches that come up the back of the officer helme. The ones that tie the shell together. The interior of the shell also looks brown on my computer. Thus I do not think this is a vulcan fibre helme. There is something odd about the rear visor...the narrow rolled rim seems to have been taken off. I have encountered this before where someone just pulled it off or it was coming off and they completed the job. That red linning almost looks like paint...no texture to it.

Yup! Now at home, I can see the stitching in the dome of the helmet: Leather. Yes, I agree, the neck guard looks odd... that's what caught my attention.
