Shouldn't there be a pearlring at the bottom for it to be a Bavarian Chevauleger M15 spike? :-k

Not necessarily wrong: as only the early M15 pattern fluted spikes for Bavarian Kavallerie/Artillerie had the pearlring.
Bayerisches A.K.O. of 31 March 1916 - (a copy of the Prussian A.K.O. of 21 September 1915): this Military Kabinetts Order of the Bavarian King orders the replacement of this type of spike by the ball-the Kugel.

This spike is a bit rusty...-But I wouldn't mind if I needed one.

I'm not gonna bid since I don't have the helmet to start with but I recall seeing one on eBay about a year ago that looked great except that it had an infantry spike... These never show-up simultaneously!
