Thanks! It’s the bright colours that impress me most. The images appear to be hand-tinted.These satirical propaganda's caricatures are really beautiful
Not just that, but I think it can be argued that the allied propaganda campaign against Germany from 1914 to 1918 was one of the most effective in recent history. Its really an interesting topic, especially that directed at the Kaiser.Fantastic find. Not dissimilar to what most countries did to demonize the enemy.
Yes but considerably amplified here because the Germans invaded Belgian and French territories, whereas the French and Belgians did not enter Germany. These pictures stress, principally, the claimed impact of German invasion on French civilians. Germans soldiers are depicted as looters, arsonists, murderers... It was impossible for German civilians to pretend the same.Fantastic find. Not dissimilar to what most countries did to demonize the enemy.
This book of anti-German propaganda posters printed in Paris in 1915 was a surprise find today. I hope you enjoy the not-so-subtle artwork!

No apologies necessary. I’m enjoying the conversation!Sorry for hijacking your post, Hallibag. Your pictures are superb, and in such a good condition.
Agree. But also not unlike WW2 German propaganda against the Russians or Americans against the Japanese hyping racial and sub human stereotypesYes but considerably amplified here because the Germans invaded Belgian and French territories, whereas the French and Belgians did not enter Germany.
