Lightweight offcers helmet. Has been an on/off restoration, now complete. Was quite crushed when i got it , complete with spike.

Nice work! I see no dings or ripples. I have restored a couple 6th cuirassier helmets and a gdc e.m., and I appreciate your efforts. Did you have to do any work on the eagle?

I do not know 100% either way. It came on a heavy EM/NCO helmet with all officer fittings.
I have a couple of EM/NCO GDC helmets and this eagle is much lighter than those , there are also remains of silver plating, but it has been well polished in the past.
What is making you say it is definatly reproduction ?

I would also respectfully ask why is this eagle being deemed as a reproduction, no offences or challenges, more for my learning curve.
I have few eagles and when I compared mine with the pics provided, I am very convinced that the eagle is original and mines are fakes. LOL

I would also like to learn if the eagle is a reproduction or the real deal. Oh, by the way amazing restoration of the helmet.
