I paid off my new Garde du Corps / Garde Kurassier Officer helmet this last week. I shot some better pics compared to those I had previously posted before deciding to purchase it. I hope everyone enjoys.
As you can see, there's a few minor dents/dings in the helmet body. The eagle has been pushed back a bit, causing the tail to make a small dent in the shell. The eagle's head has been dented in a bit on the top, which doesn't allow the crown to fit properly on the head, and there's a couple small dents in the leading edge area of the wings. Other than that, I can live with the sweatband & silk liner being absent. For as fragile as these helmets & eagles are, I'm suprised that it's in as good as shape as it is!
Best Wishes,
