Garde du Corps red eagle ?

A friend sent these photos of a helmet he has an interest in. I've never seen one with a red eagle on the plate. Opinions please ??? By the way, I've missed you guys.

I may well be wrong, but I believe it's the flash and the angle of the photo that gives the eagle that red appearance.

sorry to say this, but it looks like a repro / fake to me. The corners of the front visor are too rounded, the neck guard doesn't have the characteristic inward curve to the trim along the side of the neck, the liner looks bogus.
A real officer's GDC will be flexible and thin, so much so that when it rests on a table, it will be able to 'rock' back and forth a bit.... which is somewhat alarming.
I'd tell your friend to steer clear of this one.
