So...please tell me it was at least someone on this forum that got this Garde du Corps for 4250. I of course, bid the 4200. Heck of a price!

I'm glad it was not me!
No liner... that's the end of it.
No regret, Redlegwolf, you'll find a much better one (not that cheap though...).
 
Have to agree with Bruno, in my earlier collecting days I probably would have gone for it, but I have learned it is better to wait for complete or better helmets. Missing Kokarden and chinstraps are one thing, but a missing liner for a Garde Du Corps, a tough find.

4200 For a shell? Way to expensive for that one... Waiting for a better one with liner is indeed the best idea!

Wolf, I know it's not easy,but you're better off waiting for a good one. There's one at Weitz, which is sometimes high on prices, but the helmet is all original.. although I don't particularly care for the chin scales, which seem to have shrunken or been repaired in some way.
