This is my Major of the Landwehr Kavallerie. Unfortunately no guard. I sold the guard helmet 1 year ago. I thought I'd never need him.

Maybe you can talk the fellow who bought it into selling it to me…. Haha

That’s a beauty…. I’m fond of the Landwehr Cavalry uniforms though I’m not sure what type involvement these men had during the war. I assume they became leaders of Landwehr and regular mounted and foot troops.
