My latest find is this Garde Landwehr helmet for enlisted men the helmet was in a very bad condition blue-green corrosion on brass parts the inside was very mould and the outside was also very mould and cracked but after carefull cleaning the helmet looks much better now , normally i never clean a helmet but with this one there was no choice i cleaned the brass parts with soapy water and a soft tooth brush the inside is cleaned with a soft clothing brush and a bit of leather creme(Rapide) and for the outside i used a bit of black shoe polisch(Kiwi).
After the cleaning i discovered a few stamps size 55 , 1910 and a B.A.G. stamp enjoy the pics.
