I would appreciate opinions on this helmet, thank you Alan G

They all were painted by hand
The Garde units were elite and I think that a chosen few painted the shield and this one looks rather sloppy
Maybe too sloppy

The examples I am familiar with are neatly painted. Here is my example. Also showing the company number.

My example is from an M17 helmet but doesn't feature the white on the shield.

Here is my guard helmet (this one was a vet bring back and came out of the family). It is marked for 9th company. Interesting point about this is there is no black paint on the shield.
