Hi,

I have a model 1891/95 Pickelhaube (Mannschaften) of the Kaiser Franz Garde-Regt. Nr. 2. Would you be so kind as to tell me if this model of helmet was used during the First World War?

This stamps and marks are the soul of the Pickelhaube.
In my 3.GUR Manschafften Tschapka I cannot find a stamp (I don't like to take the helmet appart)

I wonder where to look for the stamp since there is no neckguard on a Tschapka.

I'm happy to have an intact name/unit/weapon number tag in it !

Look on the back side of the liner. Very often the unit and date will be stamped in ink on the back side of one of the liner fingers.
