Is that an extra pattern star, or is it just an EM star stuck on an officer's plate?

The bird's feet seem to hang rather far below the visor's top edge, too, but maybe that's due to play in the visor.

Looks like a EM star to me attached to a officers Garde eagle. The eagle positioning looks about right I just think the chinscales are sitting a little too high up. Heres mine below.
