I would like to contact the helmet specialists today. I know that a diagnosis based on photos is difficult, especially with helmets like this. Is it an original helmet or a well-made copy. It would be nice if you could get a positive result.

I would vote the wappen and parts to be original but can't say the same for the helmet and the liner.
The helmet body may be restored though but I don't like the black felt covering the inner tail and certainly I don't like the liner.

I agree with Amy. The Gardes star is good as well as the spike and the chin scales in my opinion. I suspect the liner and the visor coverings are restored.

I would like to sell the helmet. But I don't want to offer someone something that turns out to be a copy. There are enough scammers. always stay honest.

sorry for asking but if the helmet is a replica, the liner seems to fit. So why would you want to find a liner that fits?
