Hello everybody, what do you think of this one?

The eagle is a reproduction- the give-away is the rounded "parrot" beak. I also believe the chinscales are probably from an EM's helmet (notice the marks left by the round boss). Other than that, it looks OK...
Maybe Tony or somebody who has an OR version of this can speak more to this point for that type, but it's difficult to tell about the shell for me. An officer's shell (at least the one I have) is very thin indeed. If it's placed on a flat surface, the 'lobster tail' will flex a bit if it's leaned from side to side.
Another interesting thing the seller said was the body was 'brass or tombak'. There's no mistaking real tombak, it has a coppery color to it and unless the helmet has been plated (?), it's easy to tell.
doesnt seem right that the eagle base connects using that large washer base and screw rather than the helmets 6 screw holes. isnt that a problem with these helmets? and wow! $4000 right now! for something a little iffy!
Thank you all for your useful insights. I'm not bidding/buying this as it's already above my budget for something not 100% guaranteed but I posted this for learning purposes so please keep your comments coming!
