GDC Officers - real / restored / repro ???

What are the opinions on this. Repro... Restored.. Parts ??

In my opinion though I do not own an original......it's a repro. My reasoning: crown does not screw down tight, liner is a repro, ill fitting and puffy edges. Wappen does not fit tight to the shell. There are probably other issues which our experts will point out.

It doesn't sit well with me either, for the reasons mentioned.

I do not own one of these either, primarily because of the same questions that you are asking. There are many very good fakes out there. In my opinion the fit and trim on this helmet is questionable; the eagle does fit tight, the Wappen does not conform to the helmet shell, and the side edge trim doesn't mate properly. I also noticed that the interior colors seem to be reversed. It should be green on the front visor and black on the neck guard.
Just my opinion.
