I am not a medal collector
so we need someone else to answer this question
the Rang list would show his awards

I am not a medal collector either, but I looked up his name in the 1914 Ranglist. The order is listed as Red Eagle Order symbol followed by 1mKr.
While "1mKr" makes me think 1st class with Crown, that combination is not listed in the Orders Table in the ranglist. Only Red Eagle order lists that particular award with an Eichenlaub.

My two cents for what it's worth.
