Hello.
I just buy a feldgrau feldmutze stamped from the B.A. II 1915 (as well as I can read) and from 23 J.R.. Tha cap have only one cockade from the Saxon duchies.
I suppose the cap was first issued to the BA II and after to 23 JR (who was from the VI A.K.) The cockade is probably later restitched even if the stitching looks old...
Have somebody another explanation?
