German helmet / butcher bayonets

Those are very interesting bayonets, thanks for posting. I also have the Jeff Knoll book and recommend it but unfortunately, I don’t have it with me. P on those first stamping would indicate Pioneer to me which would fit with the saw back.

I would love to know the regimental markings on the bayonets John josef if you can help , I will post some photos .

Ok from left to right.
1st one
P.= Pionier-Bataillon
C. or d,C = ( Gardes ) du corps
D. =Division, Direktion, Dragoner, Depot, Desiziplinar-(Abteilung)

2nd.
G. = Garde-(Regiment), Gardekorps ( Generalkommando nebst Feldverwaltungsbehoerden), Grenadier-(Regiment), ( maschinen-) Geweher, Garnison, Gefaengnis.
B. = Brigade,Bezirk,Baeckerei-Abteilung,Bruecken(Train),Batterie,Betriebs,Bekleidungs-(Amt)
N= no information.

3rd.
This is the only one I feel comfortable identifying for you.
B.11.R.7.9. = Bayerisches Infanterie-Regiment 11,Kompagnie 7, Waffe Nr 9.

This is not as straight forward as one may think that's why I would recommend buying the book there are many possibilities, the font also plays a roll, the placement and combination of letters and numbers also all both play rolls in reading the marks.

I hope this helps you out a bit, like I mentioned before I'm certainly not an expert but just made an effort to try and help. Everyone interested in the subject IMO should purchase Jeffs book and dig in.

Yes the swords are all originals , one is a Scottish ribbon hilt around 1680 with the blade marked with the running horse of Passau , one is Scottish mounted horseman’s backsword , one is mounted dragoon double edged .

Remember that 1995 , my wife and I went to Glasgow for my 21 year gold watch with
British Oxygen Company , got a nice gold pocket watch but no broadsword
