I’m not sure if anyone here is interested in a WWI-era Mauser M98 rifle, but I’m posting it here anyway.

The rifle has been DEACTIVATED!

Those are super cool. Unfortunately laws have been getting ever stricter.
This one is deactiveren by German law or by recent EU regulations?
 
I am very interested in this rifle. I used to own one, bought it after I got a tip at Ypres, who gave me the address to the people who had it for sale.
It wasn't deactivated at all, and at the low cost the people wanted for it, I bought it. Unfortunately, later I sold it to a guy who had several picklehaubes for sale. It was also with the higher sighting on the barrel, just like this one has. I still regret the sale of that one..
So, I am very interested in it.
