German pith helmet

Hi to everybody here!
This is my first post and topic here.
On the photos is one of my new helmets. Not shure that it's rare but I haven't seen it often in this condiion) Any opinions are welcome. I can make the photo of the interior if anyone interested, but the liner is on restavration now(.

Thanks for sharing the photos and welcome to the forum! I know nothing about pith helmets, so I'll let others talk about it. Looks to be in nice condition.

Looks to be an unissued example of a Bortfeld Model 1902 helmet. Very nice. I would like to see the interior.

Peter, I've attached the photos of the interior. I'm sorry but it's without the liner now - it was a bit salty and now is in the restavration.
