I've wanted a real Imperial German Askari tarboosh (fez) and cover, but these are widely faked. I doubt many survived, but I recently picked up this one. It isn't real but it is likely from the adventure film Shout at the Devil. I've never heard of these being reproduced after the movie, and as much of the costumes were sold off this is likely from that production. The fez is Egyptian and of much quality than anything you'd find today in Istanbul.
It is probably as close as I'm going to get for now. It looks kind of cool.
