FLYER PG 2-1.jpg Jeff Shrader Advance Guard Militaria and Robert Wilson tarbridge/purpleheartsnorthcarolina.com are among the dealers planning to attend. In addition, Dan Clifton of Old Patriot Militaria is one of the sponsors of the show.
Hope to see some of you at the show.
Best regards,
John

I got there at 11
I think the show was kind of a bust .
Only 3 pickelhaubes in the whole show
1. Hessian EM or NCO brass with scales plate was a little high on the helmet $1,900
2. Oldenburg Off VG + shape $2750
3. New Deli JZP didn't bother asking price.
To me the best thig in the show was a camo M-17 Garde with shield and script L on back .
VG ++ shape with FULL liner $2000
I will post pics probably tomorrow.

Steve,
Jeff Shrader has the OR Hessian and Oldenburg Officer Pickelhauben, and he had one of the M17 cammo helmets. There was an M17 Cammo Guards. I set up with Old Patriotic Military, the primary sponsor of the show. I think I have had a pretty good show overall. And for a first show, it had a great cross-section of militaria CW, SpanAm, WWI, WWII, Vietnam weapons, uniforms, headgear, and medals.
Best regards,
John
PS I will post pictures of the Pickelhauben and the M17 helmets shortly.

Here is the Garde M-17 .
One of the best pieces in the show. IMHO
It had a full liner in it.
It had a $2,500 price tag but the saeller said he would go $2,000
I really liked it.
$2,000 is way out of my range at this time in my life.

$2000 is unrealistic but the day will come very very soon that it will be normal.
They have doubled in the last two years!

A very nice piece and yes, back in the 80’s here in CN, you could pick up a camo for $2-300.
