Greetings from an Old Friend, I hope

That's Ace! I like this Skellington Stuff! Who is the Artist, Chas? It's not Al Williamson, is it? Where is it from?

Trevor Burton, as a guest musician, played some whacked out, psychedelic guitar on the The Pink Fairies' second album "What a bunch of Sweeties", around 1972. Much heavier than anything he played in The Move. Apart from that, I dont know what else he did since then. I saw him play with Screaming Lord Sutch's Savages one night - with John Bonham on drums and John Paul Jones on bass. That band sounded pretty good.

Hi Mike:

It is from the cover of DC Comics' Weird War Tales, Number 17. I don't know who the artist is. I grew up on comics like this and Sgt. Rock, G. I. Combat, Enemy Ace, Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos, etc.

Some still survive in a cardboard box somewhere in a forgotten corner, lasting memories of a no-tech childhood of reading, radio, and recreation.

Chas.

...and this one too.
