Guard artillery Pickelhaube

Hi guys,

My newest helmet in the collection. I got this to go together with my 1915 friedensrock of the artillery school in Jüterbog. Its nicely stamped KBAG 1915. Name of the owner is also inside but really can't decifer it.

Lovely. Brandenburg cuffs I assume? I'll never find a Waffenrock, and have to be happy with a Pickelhaube (identical to yours) and pre-war and M15 shoulder straps.

Excellent grouping! I can't really tell from the pictures but I am presuming that the collar litzen is yellow from the machine stitching.
Both guard field and guard foot artillery (including the Lehr Regiment der Fussartillerie Schiessschule) would have yellow litzen, tomback buttons and swedish cuffs.

As did I, I thought I could see washed-out yellow on one of the bars?

Hey guys,

Its correct what Dave pointed out. The the collar litzen are yellow and i got Swedish cuffs.
The yellow is not that fresh annymore as it used to be.
But that doesn't bother me. I still adore the complete set.
Can look at it for days... :lol:
