Guard Uhlan officer briefing the Kaiser

This is a great one! The Kaiser wears a Saxon Uhlan Tschapka. And the standing officer reading a map wears a 1GRzf, 1st battalion helmet.
Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for that correction Bruno. I must be half asleep today!

The bespectacled gentleman reading the map is Generaloberst (with the rank of a General-Feldmarschall) Hans von Plessen, the Diensttuender Generaladjutant to the Kaiser and à la suite to the 1. Garde-Regiment zu Fuß. Chief of the General Staff, General der Infanterie Helmut von Moltke is seated next to his Majesty. General von Moltke was à la suite to the Kaiser Alexander Garde-Grenadier-Regiment and wears the helmet of that regiment.

A couple more identifications for this one:

The officer looking at the camera next to the tree is Hauptmann Albert Zeyß. He was the director of the automobile detachment at the Royal stables. In the 1912 Rangliste (the year of this Kaisermanöver) he is listed as an Hauptmann à la suite der Armee with the uniform of the Versuchs-Abteilung des Militär-Verkehrswesens (trials and testing detachment of the military technical branch).

The half obscured Ulan officer standing next to him is Oberleutnant Ernst von Papen of Ulan-Regiment Nr. 6 and commanding the 1st troop of the Leibgendarmerie. See below:

General à la suite, Generalmajor Oskar von Chelius stands immediately behind Generaloberst von Plessen.
