I too cannot understand the bidder for the helmet. On top of the price, there is a 10% buyers premium.

There is such a thing as “harems” - bidders raising prices deliberately, in concert and to the benefit of the auction house.

Some people mit a lot of (too much?) money are driving market prices through the roof

I would be happy if I was selling but sadly, I'm still a buyer and when I see some prices I just have to laugh but somehow, they still sell.

don't get that 25 % commission and then they pay
the auction house their fee
Maybe 45 % less than the final price ?
Just a guess as I have not sold at auction

For an not nominative Helmet, too expensive. Another very interesting nominative officer of JR 75 was sold and in this case, the helmet was very scare and interesting.
