Question ;what do you make of the rear visor being black ?
The reason that I ask the question is that I have a helmet with a black rear visor also .

Nice helmet; looking at the thinness of the rear visor (and the front visor too?) I think it is made of Vulkanfiber or a similar leather substitute

Well spotted Lars , the front and back visors are super thin and hard , and indeed a leather substitute.
Don’t know why they are blackened , with a bright light on it , the 58 is clear to see , nothing else.

Nice hat Ed....I take a size 58cm and I think I would look pretty cool in that! On a more serious note, the visors could also be pressed cardboard which I have seen many times.
