Portrait of Hauptmann Georg von Kunowski from the Grenadier-Regiment König Friedrich Wilhelm IV (1. Pommersches) Nr.2. Note the unique and impressive gold embroidery on his collar. His medal bar includes the Order of the Red Eagle 4th class, 1900/01 China Campaign Medal and Wilhelm I Centenary Medal.
Georg von Kunowski served in the 2 and 3. Infanterie-Regiment of the East Asian Occupation Brigade from 1901 to 1903.
