He is still kickin

That’s great. It must be telepathy- I was just wondering how Gus was doing, and if indeed he was still kickin’! I miss his dry, whimsical humour. Best wishes to him.

We went for a ride in one of his 1942 Ford jeeps! He is an amazing driver, I have to apologize for screaming like a girl though.

We had a good visit, I had to frisk him when we left the dumpsters, I thought is was suspicious how he limped coming out, he did not have a stiff leg earlier. I could not believe he managed to get my T-Gewehr stuck down his pants.

He must be really tall. :ROFLMAO::LOL:

We had a great visit from James and Lori LeB. Missing SOS the past few years has been a disappointment, not because of missing the show, but because of missing seeing good friends from around the world. Seeing them was like the best part of the show. I have not posted much on this forum recently, Col Joe has forced me into slave labor posting weekly (weakly) for his blog on WWI German History of facepage. A lot of the old guard members from here are there as well. Cancer has been an interesting journey, I have met some amazing people at the hospitals that I would have never met if I had not had cancer, so there is always a blessing somewhere in our lives.

Great to see these photos and to have you post here Gus! I have also heard Jame's
"girly screams"...usually over something Bavarian. They are quite chilling! :) We are making plans with James. and Lori to meet up at the MAX Show in Sept. Hope to talk to some of our collector friends there. All the best to you and your better half Gus!

Good to see you back again Gus, and clear of cancer! I already saw you posting on that FB group too, I am a member there to, though I don't react there much. (y)
