Does anyone have examples of Fahnenjunker helmets for Kurassier, either Prussian or Saxon?

Die Ectra-Kommis-Helme laxsen sich nicht zum Offizier-Helm
Innindern.
Helme fir Fahnenjunker in Kommis-Façon, jedoch in Aus- führung wie Pos. No. 240/241, haben dann den gleichen Preis

The Ectra commis helmets do not become an officer helmet

I have a KR6 I bought from AoK a while back. I can’t figure out how to post photos on this forum at the moment or I’d post it.

Go to the "attach files" at the left, under the frame you are using to post a message.

Thank you, I knew how but the images weren’t loading, it turned out they were saved in an incompatible format for the forum so uploaded some quick screen shots.

Those are wonderful. The Saxon looks nearly all officer furniture present. Both appear in great shape.
Thanks Charles! Yes, very similar to the Saxon OYV image you shared. Both helmets have the officer-grade liner, velvet lined lobster tails, and leather lined front visors. You can see why these regiments had income requirements...the uniform costs must have been astronomical.

Hi Charles - the starburst seems to be less crisp that most I've seen, and I am not sure what the small hole on the gilt Saxon arms is. The chinscales look off to me - the rosettes are much smaller than the upper scales, which is usually not the case, and the spike base is unusual. I've not seen that little fore and aft ridge before. (Doug's KR6 helmet is a good example of both of these features, IMO). Would be interested to see a direct side profile image. From these pictures, it doesn't have the clean, elegant lines common to period originals. Just my $0.02 and observations - would be interested to hear from others.
