Help to identify this Pickelhaube

Bavarian coloured kokarde. Usually, these helmets with trim on both visors are fire or police officer so the wappen could be a city coat of arms.

Thanks for your reply, today I cracked it - or I should say it was solved for me - it is a Chemnitz City Police ("Chemnitzer Schutzmannschaft") c. 1900.

Nice helmet but not really my cup of tea, is there much call for police pickelhaubes?

yes, they are collected, but the largest market is Germany itself for these.

If you can list on Ebay Germany, or ship world wide you will have your best shot at getting fare value.
