Help to translate a book dedication in German

Hello

I was hoping someone can help me.
at a boot fair the other week I picked up a battered copy of a German book called "Gibirgsjager auf Kreta" inside the cover is a dedication, I cannot read it but I think it is signed by Generalmajor Ringel who commanded the division who took part in the attack on Crete.

I would very much like to know what it says, I know its the wrong war for us but I like anything Military.

appreciate any help

Hi,

This is as far as I got (what I can't read in dots):
"Zum Geleit

……..! Ihr habt das
Wort des Führers wahr gemacht,
dass dem deutschen Soldaten
nichts unmöglich ist.

Weiter so bis zum Endsieg,
Für Großdeutschland!

Hurra die Gams!

Ringel

Genmjr u. … ….."

meaning roughly:
"Foreword

……..! You made the word of the Führer come true that nothing is impossible for German soldiers.

Keep it up until the final victory.
For Great-germany!

Forward the mountain goat!

Ringel

Genmjr u. … ….."

Clearly written before the end of the war :D

Lars

Thanks Lars I really appreciate you taking the time to help me with this, interesting text, I wonder if the missing bit at the front is a nickname? Seems to end kampfer or fighter maybe? Either way I am really grateful. The book was published in 1942
