Likewise. Hoping to pay on Monday, but man our country makes international wires a nightmare. And they are rare enough at my local bank that it is always a learning experience for whomever is doing it!

Imagine being in Arkansas trying to make a wire transfer. Forget it…. I just use cc and pay the extra just to reduce my stress.

wire transfers in the USA are insane, and to be honest, most banks do not want to even do them as it is a process and can be expensive...

wish it was easier.

This is the sad reason I have never bought from Kube, wish he would take credit cards like everyone else.

Wire by my bank is no problem
They have an International dept
charge is $55.00 deducted from my checking account

not my bank, wants $125 to do it, plus I have detail exactly what it is for...

Also, have to make an appointment with a banker to do it. Maybe just my bank.

My former bank charged $50. My current bank charges $35, and I simply go to a teller to start the process. But it takes most of the day for them to process the transaction, or into the next day, depending upon when I go in to have them complete the paperwork, before the money is wired. It's just a pain in the neck to send money internationally this way.

Well, my item was stuck in customs 3 days before being released but arrived safely today. It’s a worn but rare Leib-Garde Husaren Attila that Ive been looking for a long time. Took a few pics outside and celebrating now with a beer… the hangup in customs always stresses me out.

Mine does not charge anything, unless I ask a clerk to make the transaction at the branch, but now I can do it all online. This is how I deal with Jan Kube, for instance.

I have a bank of America account. My wire transfers don’t cost anything. I think it might be because I have a travel reward credit card with them. You can do it all on line
