Aside from the glue this looks pretty good:
The four arms of the crucifix base are the same length (only on Hessen).
The Kokarden look correct.
The chinscales are rounded so I doubt that it's infantry, I think it's a dragoon (Hessen used a round front visor for dragoons, not squared like everyone else).
Probably a Fähnrich.
May be a good deal for someone.

The leather chinstrap and buckle are not present behind the chinscales, however. The overall condition is very good.
