The use of the word "anxiety" has a negative conotation in this use, Joe is not so bad, and Janet is really nice.
If you are happy to have joe visit you would say "we are anxious to have you visit".

Thanks for the lesson, "esperando com ansiedade"(waiting with anxiety) has a positive conotation in Portuguese, that signifies that "We want badly the visit". I know that Joe is not so bad (just ugly) :lol: , and yes, Janet is really nice , after all, she loves Joe. Like us we say in Brazil:" Quem ama o feio, bonito lhe parece" " Who loves the ugly, beautiful seems " :lol: :lol: :lol:
